There is now hope to get rid of those lights and get back to gaming! We are an experienced PC & Gaming repair shop and have been PCs, Laptops, & iPods, as well as Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo GBA, & DS Lite console repairs since 2003. To date, we've successfully repaired over thirty Xbox 360s, and can do the same for you! In most cases, we can have your console back up and running within one week, sometimes as little as 2-3 days.
To resolve the "Red Rings of Death," our $75 repair fee covers a 90-day service guarantee, a thorough cleaning of the CPU and GPU, application of fresh Arctic Silver thermal compound, modification of the incorrectly-designed motherboard cage, and replacement of Microsoft's flawed "X-clamps." This assures that your 360's motherboard is far less likely to warp under heat exposure and system cool-down, which is the reason you're getting the "Red Rings" in the first place. For a console that can cost up to $350, this is a deal! We also rigorously test the system after the repair to ensure everything is holding up. Beware of other technicians who promise same-day service, as the system may not be tested as well as it should, potentially resulting in your having to bring it back to be repaired again.
We can also repair/replace Xbox 360 DVD drives that have stopped reading discs due to bad laser assemblies, burnt-out motors, and other mechanical failures. For an estimate, please contact us with the specific problem you're experiencing.
In my book, customer satisfaction is priority #1. If we can't fix it, we have replacement units on hand! If the console is deemed non-repairable within my 90-day warranty period, I will personally issue you a refund or exchange your console with a working system from our stock.
IMPORTANT: Our service will
void the manufacturer's warranty. Microsoft has extended their manufacturer's warranty covering the "Three Red Rings" issue for three years from the date of purchase, and they will perform their repair for free. However, there have been numerous complaints by 360 owners that MS takes a very long time to return the unit to you. Even though this is the case, I always recommend that you look into this and weigh the pros/cons before committing to having your system repaired by myself or any other third party.
We cannot be held responsible for any prior damage done to your console by means of abuse or tampering, and we reserve the right to not perform service or limit/withdraw the warranty period if the console has been improperly handled, modified, etc. before we receive it for repair. If there has been any such activity, please just let us know ahead of time, and after assessing the damage, we will do our best to provide some sort of guarantee. Our goal is for your console is in the best possible operating condition when you take it home, and want to make sure it stays that way!
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 2:pm to 6:pm, though you can feel free to give us a call any time, (330)929.2600, or drop us an email at
