Halloween
What are you doing for Halloween this year? We're having a party for the kids & taking the younger ones trick-or-treating. :jack

Haunted Hay Ride & Watching the 7 hour special of Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel.

Today we went shopping & got a few things for the kids' party. We're going to let them play a game that we call fear factor (but isn't really like the show). We blindfold them and have them taste disgusting *edible* things like pickle juice or oysters. Or it could be something like Pepsi. You never know. They had gummi snakes and spiders, so we got a couple of those, and some gummi eyeballs that sort of look real. I bet they feel pretty gross, too. The kids will love it. :) We're having the party this Saturday. I think I'm going to dye my hair black (with that dye that washes out in a few weeks) and go as OliveOyl. Should be fun.

that sounds great, will your husband go as Popeye? hehe you should look for worms in dirt. that would be good for hollowween. My favorite was the skeleton candy's that you could connect together. For hollowween I'm going to my parents house to hang out with my nieces and nephew. I'm not sure how that town does trick or treat but I'm well take the kids somewhere fun. we will have to post some pics.

Worms in the dirt is an awesome snack. I loved that stuff as a Kid. I think we called it "dirt pudding pie".

Well, the party's over. It was fun while it lasted. lol. I didn't end up dressing up, and now I'm glad I didn't. No one else did either. Though I'd still kinda like to dye my hair black. It's never been black before. The kids had a great time, especially the fear factor game. The worst thing was probably the oysters or sardines. Although Nathan had hominy, which he hates. Their reactions are really funny. Adam got the sardines. They also played a game like pin the tail on the donkey, but it was pin the face on the pumpkin. I drew a pumpkin on a paper & stuck it to the wall. George printed a bunch of face parts from the Internet & Adam & Faith cut them out. Then at the party, the kids wore a blindfold as they pinned (actually taped) them on the pumpkin. Even the older boys (15 to 17 yrs) seemed to enjoy that game. I have a pic of the face they ended up with, that I will post later.
